Free Parking
This SaturdayAfter hearing from business owners and the GBA, Mayor William Martin has announced that it will be free to park in Greenfield this Saturday, August 13, for the state-wide sales-tax holiday. If you've been postponing making a big purchase, now's the time to take advantage of the 6.25% reduction, and you'll save a few quarters to park in town, as well! |

GBA at the Franklin County Fair
Come volunteer in the GBA booth at the fair September 10 and 11. You get a front row seat for meeting and greeting county residents and talking up Greenfield as a place to shop, dine, visit and conduct business. If you can't be there, drop off any business "SWAG" at the Chamber office and we will put it on our table. We'll also be taking coupons to fill our green eggs. Bring them in ASAP. These coupons reach hundreds of potential customers. They're a great, inexpensive way to get your business' name out there.
To volunteer at the booth, click this link to reach a "doodle" scheduling website. It's really easy, we promise.

Speaking of Getting
the Word Out...
Here are a couple of marketing options that may work for your business or nonprofit. The Franklin Regional Transit Authority is selling ads for the exterior and interior of their vehicles. Outside ads are 17"x48" (cost: $110 per month). Inside ads are 11"x28" (cost: $20 per month). Contact Tina Cote.
Print coupons and bring them to the GBA for stuffing into our magically compelling green eggs (cost: free). Buy a featured membership on the GBA website (cost: $100 per month). The feature article (we can help you write it) and photo will follow the user as he or she navigates the site. We have openings for November and December (think holidays). |

Bells are Jingling...Almost
It's hard to believe but the winter holidays are right around the corner. The GBA is beginning planning for its yearly commemorative ornament, Home for the Holidays retail event, and holiday lights (prepare to be wowed by our new display!). If you want to join us as we plan, or have ideas to share, please let Kate know. |
