Home for the Holidays on November 26: Start Planning Now
How will you bring new customers to your store this holiday season? We can help! Home for the Holidays kicks off the holiday season by drawing shoppers downtown to marvel at the decorated windows, chat with Santa, watch their kids make ornaments, take a chance to win a tree decorated with gift certificates from local businesses, buy wreaths, light the Town Christmas Tree and much more!
Ways to Participate
Donate a gift certificate or prize for our raffle: A certificate from your business could be hanging on a lovely Christmas tree that we will raffle off.
Window decorating contest: Start planning now and deck your windows out in style. The best window gets free radio and print ads. One voter drawn at random wins $100 in Greenfield Dollars. We provide a poster for your door and a ballot box, wrapped, naturally.
Give coupons for green eggs: We'll be selling green eggs at the Arts Block. Every egg is filled with a prize, such as a coupon to a local business. Your business could be one of them! One egg has $50 in it. People love this activity!
Schedule:
10 am to 4 pm: Arts Block, green eggs and ornaments for sale, ornament-making activity for children 10 am to 2 pm: Arts Block, wreaths for sale Noon to 4 pm: Arts Block: Santa takes requests 4:30 pm: lighting of the town Christmas Tree, caroling, Veterans, Mall
This year, Home for the Holidays falls on The Recorder's Discount Card Day, and on Small Business Saturday, so folks will be out shopping. We are promoting this event with radio and print ads. Make sure you take advantage of the surge in shoppers and join us!
